Abyssus--Into The  Abyss  cd   {Memento  Mori}After  releasing several   split releases  and  E.P's    Greece's  old-school  maniacs  have  unleashed ther  debut  full-length through the   mighty  Memento  Mori.Combing  mid  to  fast  guitars with  some   excellent  guitar  patterns and a few solo's  mixed in.The  drumming  is  done  with  a lot  of  great  drum  patterns  and styles going from  fast beats  to  a more  mid paced range.The  vocals  are  done  with  a lot  of  powerful  and well done  death growls.If you  have  heard this  band  before  then  you   know what  to  expect  but  if you  are  new  to  Abyssus's  style  and you  enjoy  old-school  death  metal  then  do   not  let  this  release   pass you  by.

Korgull The  Exterminator--Reborn From  The   Ashes  cd   {Van  Rec.}
Korgull The  Exterminator  comes  out   of  Spain's  blackend thrash  metal  scene.Combing  extremely  fast  thrashy  guitar  riffs  and  chaotic  drum  patterns.The  band  is  very  good  at  writing  and  executing  their  brand  of thrash  with  some  elements  of  early  black  metal  entertwined  in the structures.The  guitarist  stays  mainly  in the  extreme fast  but  do  slow  to  a  mid paced range  and  writes  some  memorable  parts.The  vocals  are  in the  vein  of  blackend  screams that f it  the bands  music  perfectly.If  you  are  a  thrash  fiend  who  likes the  early  black  metal  then  Korgull The  Exterminator  is  a   band  for  you.

Rapture---Crimes  Against   Humanity  cd    {Witches  Brew  Rec.}
Over  the  last  few   years  their   has  been  a lot  of  great  thrash  bands  coming  out  of the scene  in  Greece.Rapture   is d efintly  a band you  can  add to  this  list  with their  thrash metal with  some  sing along  choruses  in  a few  of the songs.The  guitars  are  played  with  a lot  of  speed and aggressive parts but  the  guitarists  does slow  it  down  in  a few  songs  to  a  more  mid paced  range  with some  really  well  done  guitar  patterns and  even  some  solo's   mixed  in  some  of the  songs.The   vocalist  does  good  job  with  screaming/hollering  vocals  and  some  clean  vocal  patterns.if you  enjoy  thrash  metal  at  it's  best  then  defintly   pick a  copy  up  today.

Sacrocurse--Destroying   Chapels  7inch  {Iron  Bonehead  Rec.}
Mexico's  Sacrocurse  return  with  a brand  new  7inch  featuring  four  songs  of  barbaric and  vicious  blackend death  metal.The  drums  are  played  at  extreme  speeds  that  do  slow  to  a   more  mid-paced  range  before  going  full force.The  guitars  are  played  at  fast speeds  with  some really  well done   guitar  patterns  and even  some  well  played  solo's  mixed  in the  song.The  vocals  are   great  death growls  with some  screams  entertwined  and  really  go  good  with  Sacrocurse's  barbaric and  violent  blackend death.If you  are  a fan  of  violent and  brutal  blackend  death  then  don't  pass  this  release  up.

Them  Vultures--Weird  Tales  demo  {Self-released}
Coming  out  of  the  mighty  Swedish  death  metal scene is the  new  band  Them  Vultures with their  debut  demo  Weird  Tales.Featuring  five  songs  of  solid and  heavy  Swedish  death  metal.The  guitars   are  done  with  a lot  of  heavy  and  mid paced  range  but  the  guitarist  does  cut  loose  in a few songs  and  goes  all out  with  razor sharp fast  guitar  patterns.The drums  are a  mix  of  mid paced  drum  patterns that  does  speed up to  all out  assult  of the drum  kit.The  vocalist  does  a  god  job  of  old-school  death  growls  with  a few  screams  mixed  in  a few  of the  songs.

War  Atrocities--Necromantical  Legions Mcd  {Witches  Brew  Rec}
War Atrocities  have   unleased their  new  Mcd   Necromantical  Legions  through  Witches  Brew Records.Featuring  seven  songs  of  mid  eighties  blackend thrash  metal.Semi  fast   guitars that  are   played  with  a lot  of talent  and  great  riff  and  guitar  patterns.The  drumming  is  all over the  place  with  fast  drum  patterns that  do  slow  to  a  more  mid  paced  range  before  picking the  pace  up  and  going  all out  with fast  drum  patterns.This  is  a great  blackend thrash  band  and release  so  if you  are  a fan  of  this  style  then do yourself  a  favor  and  pick  up the  new  Mcd  from   War  Atrocities  and  Witches  Brew Rec.  today.
