Interview with Inferior done by Patrick on 4-24-16

Here   is   a  new  interview  with  Sweden's  Inferior   thrash metal   maniacs.  Who  recently  released  their   second  cd   "The   Red   Beast"   anyone  who  enjoys  fast, chaotic   thrash   metal  should  defintly  check  this  band  out  soon.

Interview with Inferior done by Patrick

1.Hello when did you all first meet each other? Was it long before you all decided to start a band? And who thought of the nameInferior as the band name?

Cheers Patrick!
We have known each other for a very long time, and with that said we cant remember who came up with the band name!

2.What is the current line up of Inferior ?For the readers who have never had the chance to hearInferior's music how would you best describe it?

Two guys on guitars, one "Tom Araya" and one motherfucker with drumsticks! INFERIOR sounds like a high caliber thrash metal bullet being fired through a death metal rifle, kind of.. Haha

3.Inferior is getting ready to release their second cd "The Red Beast" how long did it take the band to write and record the songs on this release? Does the whole band work on writing the music or does one member usually write everything?

Its hard to say because we have new songs coming up all the time, the next album is almost finished. Usually its our guitarist CF who writes the songs.

4.Who usually takes care of writing the lyrics what are some topics the band writes and sings about?

The topic of the lyrics is "things we are angry upon", so the angriest dude at the time writes the lyrics!

5.Besides the new cd "The Red Beast" does the band have any other releases or merchandise for the readers? If yes where can the fans buy it from?

We sell the usual shit, t-shirts, hoodies and CDs! You can buy our merch from different websites on the internet,, and of course order from our website

6.Inferior recently made a video for the song "Own Your Own Honor" why did you all choose this song to make a video ? How long did it take the band to shoot and make this video?

"Own Your Honour" is the song that best represents the album. It took a day to shoot and a couple of more days to cut it!

7.Are their any plans to make any more video's soon and if you all had the opportunity which song would you like to see made into a video?

We have planned to make more videos from this album, but not decided which one yet! "Expressed In Murder" would be cool though!

8.DoesInferior get to play "live" very often or do you prefer to work in the studio?

We love to play live and we get alot of opportunities but its often an economic issue, often people wants you to work for free and keep the ticket sales for themselves, fuck that shit!

9.What have been some of the bands most memorable shows to date? Are their any upcoming shows or small tours the readers should watch out?

Actopan or Saltillo in Mexico! We toured through Mexico in 2014 and it was amazing!
In two weeks you will get to see us with The Haunted in our hometown. We have a tour coming up also.

10.Are any of the members currently working with other bands if yes please tell the readers a little about them?

We all  have different side projects, Fetus Stench, Vulkan among others.

11.In your opinions what is the best and worst thing about the underground scene today? And what does underground metal mean to you?

Its tough competition out there! Underground metal is everything for us, its what we are!

12.Inferior comes out of Sweden's thrash deathmetal scene what is your opinion of Sweden's metal scene over the years?

Sweden has a really high band per capita ratio! And lots of great bands has emerged from our dark forests. We believe that Sweden will continue to spit out good quality metal even in the future.

13.Who are some of your all-time favorite Swedish bands? Are their any new and upcoming bands you all feel the readers should watch out for?

Dissection, At the gates, The Haunted, Entombed, Unleashed and Karensdag are some that needs to be mentioned! Tribulation is a great upcoming band!

14.When not working on new music or band business what do you all enjoy doing in your free time?

Eat, sleep, fuck, drink and kill! Yes we are serious!

15.Thank you for taking the time to fill this interview out.Do you have any final comments for the readers?

Thank you Patrick!
If we meet you guys in the future, say the password "Öl är gött", and we will but you beer!
